Next Life Foundation is a 501(c)3 Christian Vocational Training Center in Mbuguni, a predominantly Muslim village, in northern Tanzania, East Africa. The two vocations currently being taught, by our Tanzanian staff, are tailoring and carpentry. Electricity is not available, so students learn their trades using treadle sewing machines and hand tools. English and other life skills that will aid in a successful future of the graduating students are also a major focus of the Foundation.
There are plans in the works to expand to other skill sets: cooking, welding, mechanics and basic computer use. In an area where poverty and idleness prevail, an opportunity for hope is desired by all. Parents and spouses are eager to send their loved ones to Next Life for training which gives the Holy Spirit an opportunity to speak to their hearts.
